Each month, over 94,000 people use B.C. food banks, and 30 per cent of them are children. Are you ready to help drive away hunger?

For the eighth year in a row, Farm Credit Canada is running its FCC Drive Away Hunger program. Drive Away Hunger is a unique food drive that focuses on reducing hunger in rural Canada.

How can you help? FCC will be collecting food and cash donations at the Abbotsford Heat hockey game on Sunday, October 16, so please consider bringing a bag of food with you to the game. All donations will go directly to the Abbotsford Food Bank.

As part of the Drive Away Hunger program, FCC employees will also be driving vehicles through B.C. October 12 and 13. This Drive Away Hunger tour will take place in the communities of Surrey, Langley, Duncan, Chemainus, Victoria, Abbotsford and Chilliwack.

To help support Drive Away Hunger and local food banks, please feel free to drop off food and cash donations at your local FCC office anytime between now and October 14.
