Your financial donations are a huge help. Every $1 dollar donated equals $2 or more dollars with our grocery buying power. Beyond food, monetary contributions allow us to fund programs, train staff & volunteers, and keep our vehicles & facilities functional & safe. Thank you!
Online Donations
Donating on-line is safe, secure & easy.
When you click the "Donate Today" tab (above to the right) you will be forwarded to the Abbotsford Food Bank's PayPal. No need to worry, you do not need a PayPal account in order to donate!
Enter your donation amount and feel free to include a note. It’s that easy!
Monetary donations are tax-deductible and a tax receipt will be issued to you in the mail.
In Person
The Abbotsford Food Bank now has Debit, Mastercard and Visa terminal for all "in person" donations.
Cash and cheques are accepted at the Abbotsford Food Bank.
Gift-in-kind tax receipts are available at the Abbotsford Food Bank.
Examples of "Gift-in-kind" :
- Receipts for items purchased for the "sponsor-a-family" program at Christmas (minus taxes)
- Market value for produce donated for distribution
- Market value of gold,silver, and foriegn currency.
All in person donations will be issued a temporary receipt, your official tax receipt will arrive by mail.

In Recognition
A gift to The Abbotsford Food Bank can be a practical way to honour someone on a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion. We will mail a notification letter to the person of your choice if you wish to supply us with their name and mailing address and you will be issued a receipt for income tax purposes
