Abby Toys for Tots Christmas Breakfast 2018

Our 6th Annual Toys for Tots Christmas Breakfast is just around the corner, and we can’t wait! We have been excitedly preparing and planning for Friday, November 23rd. If you have never attended one of these events, you are in for a treat! Toys for Tots Christmas Breakfast is a fun family friendly event that kicks off the Christmas season. Join us anytime from 6:00 am to 9:30 am at the Quality Hotel for a delicious hot breakfast, crafts, photo booth, a visit with Santa, live Christmas carols and local entertainment brought to us by Sevenoaks Shopping Centre. Everyone is invited to participate. All we ask is that you bring a new toy for any age or a monetary donation to the event to benefit the Abbotsford Christmas Bureau and Food Bank.
Why do we put on this event? We want everyone in our city to have a meaningful and memorable Christmas, especially children. Since we see an increase of families needing our services during the Christmas season, it becomes harder to restock our shelves enough to provide for everyone who needs it. We need help from our community, and year after year our community responds! Last year was our best Toys for Tots yet! Together we raised 2058 toys and $58,400 in financial support! During the Christmas season, we were able to support 1,257 children, 573 families, and 174 seniors. We are overwhelmed with support and gratitude.
As you arrive at the event, you will see members of our local Firefighters and Paramedics who will be happy to greet you. Once you get inside, we have lots of fantastic, talented live entertainment lined up for you. The event will be emceed by Cliff Prang. Performances will include MEI Schools Chamber Choir, husband and wife duo Coalmont, Ever After Princess Party Events, Abbotsford Christian School’s Jazz Band, Ember Glo, Ryan McAllister, and Janver and Tori and more! This year we will also have some very exciting door prizes, including 10 $50 Castle Fun Park gift cards, items from Winks Home Gift and Baby, and a surprise from Envision Financial.
We would not be able to put on this event without our event sponsors. With their support, we can put on an enjoyable event at very little cost, which means we are able to maximize the financial benefit for the children, families, and seniors in need in our community. We are so grateful for businesses in our community who choose to sponsor and support such a good local cause.
We hope you are able to join us for the festivities, but if you would still like to participate but are unable to stay, we also offer a drive-thru option with hot beverages and a treat where you don’t even need to leave your car to participate!
