As a child, Hailey received Starfish Packs.Today, she works closely with the program through her role at Save On Foods where she goes the extra mile to support the program in providing fresh, nutritious foods to children across Abbotsford.“When people see a Starfish pack, they don’t always realize how many people are involved. From the warehouse staff and delivery drivers to the volunteers packing bags, the coordinator, donors, and everyone in between – everybody matters. Every year, the BC Chicken Growers Association putt their heart into the Chicken Golf Tournament, and this year was no exception! 🏌️♀️🐔 By swinging for a cause, they raised over $72,000 in support of our Starfish Pack Program, enough to provide over 80 children with food throughout the school year. ❤️ Behind every dollar is a child who is getting the nutrition they need to thrive. That’s what makes this tournament such a powerful and meaningful impact in our community. A huge thank you to the BC Chicken Growers Association, golfers, sponsors, and everyone who helped make this incredible day possible!
